Windmills and Solar are a joke! Their ugly and take up way too much arable space. In one valley there are 4000 windmills. All they could do is power one small town and even then backup power was needed from other sources because windmills produce only intermittent power.

Coal, oil and natural gas are joke because of their pollution. Fracking is a nightmare! Set a match to your faucet to see the large flame! You're killing yourself drinking that water. These carbon energy options kill more than a million people a year and leave tens of millions suffering from various illnesses ailments.

The only solution is for 70 to 90 years more, Nuclear Power Plants (uranium waste should not be recycled) and then transition to Thorium Plants (thorium is three times as plentiful, less dangerous, has a much shorter half life and more efficient than uranium) and then after that Hydrogen Powered. Airplanes can safely fly with mini thorium reactors. Even if the plane crashes there is no risk because the reactor disables itself by natural means (http://www.technewsdaily.com/nuclear-power-thorium-future-2400/).

Thorium is so amazing, an individual's lifetime energy requirement equals about 8 tablepoons of thorium (100 grams).

The reason why United States is not going the nuclear route is because they will go the thorium route. United States has the most thorium in the world. Australia comes in second and India has the third most.

Fracking is polluting our water supply. No doubt about it. This is frack flowback hell.
