Spalding did not want his romanticism and multiple texts to turn into Mormonism. Smith plagiarized and then lied about it was from a made up angel called Moroni. The comparison of the texts are undeniable.

It is plagiarism then as it is plagiarism now. No matter how many times you write new books about it, it remains. As long as you keep the central facts, no amount of obfuscation can detract.

Salvation is by grace, not by works, lest anyone should boast. God alone is "from everlasting."

A poor man conspired with a man with a historian who was the cousin of a cult leader all for sake of "filthy lucre." Trying to make money by lying to people to appeal to their selfishness to reject Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon 12 Apostles have 3 sets of two names for their Apostles just like 12 Apostles of the Bible. What a coincidence! And the name game: same names of people in the book of Mormon of individuals by local towns.

There are other books besides Spalding's that Joseph Smith plagiarized from. e.g. Crowdy's pastor, Ethan Smith, wrote a book of trying to prove the origins of the Indians as Jewish. And Crowdy is Smith's cousin. Crowdy lied saying he saw the Morini angel, after the name of a town.

Mormonism picks on kids' gullible minds who are home schooled and get a warped sense of history. Mormonism tries to explain how Adam could be the first man about six thousand years ago and how from the first Adam, men came to be on all the continents. But their approach is false. Mormons misunderstand something. The truth is the first Adamic man about six thousand years ago did fall from grace. Though men could not cross over to North and South America, their sin condition manifested because of the sin of the first Adamic man-the first God-conscious man. There is only one Garden of Eden for man, so therefore, because of the sin of one man, through the air the evil spirits had the right to deceive men on the other side of the planet and so, they were deceived of their own free will. They did not have this right had not Adam and Eve sinned. The first generation as well as ensuing generations, sin beget sin.
