I went through this experience where I couldn't watch sports anymore because of my absoluteness for God. After I got regenerated, my conscious wasn't at peace if I watched basketball on TV or played fantasy sports online.
Watching sports on TV doesn't get you closer to God. I could not imagine people doing these soulish activities when Jesus is about to come back. We shouldn't waste our time enjoying these types of bondage of sins.
I'm not a 100% but shouldnt we be rejecting our soulish desires. If you are walking in the Spirit, wouldn't it be impossible to fulfill the lust of the flesh.
