God saves one way only. Either as taught by OSAS Arminian or Calvinism.

The difference is: are we fallen so that we can't choose the cross, not even by God's wooing and convincing by His Spirit and work on the cross by the Son of God (as taught in Calvinism); or, does the sovereign God save by this very method (OSAS Arminian) so that man as a sovereign being with free-will made in God's image may have the authentic choice such that no man is prevented from salvation without first regard for his choice and no man is saved first before being given the choice.

Remember too, Arminius believed in OSAS, except that he was uncertain about some verses by saying they only seemed like they lead to non-OSAS; but, he never gave up his belief in OSAS. To answer this problem, a learned Christian can response by saying those verses Arminius was referring to speak of loss of rewards in the millennial reign of Christ on earth with His overcomers; hence, there shall be some non-overcomer believers that lose the reward of reigning during the transition period between the age of grace and the new earth. Rewards are then done away with in the new city and new earth.

Praise the Lord for this discernment!

To reiterate, the key pinpoint point is this: when man fell did he become a robot (allowing some and not others as like a light switch turned on or off irregardless of the offering of choice) or did he still remain in God's image with the choice but needed wooing and convincing by divine mercy and grace?

A simple chart can help:

Fallen ---> unable Robot ---> some are picked and some not without offering of choice

OR

Fallen ---> sovereign choice proffered ---> evidence of choice some choose by the grace given and some still refuse even though grace was given

Does God want to walk with Robots? Or can He do better than that in a real relationship with His sons and daughters whom He foreknew their free-choice before the foundations of the world?

Some people just don't want to be saved God's way no matter how close they come to gospel. They don't want to give up what? CONTROL

Reformed Theology is control to not let go of one's self to be saved by grace through faith; instead, they assumed they were chosen robots and thus maintain control of self. Assumptions are deadly.
