When Adam fell that gave rise to the flesh which caused his spirit to become dead toward God. While man's conscience still functions somewhat within man's spirit (in the 6 dimensions), it has lost its sensitivity through intuition and is offended, blocking the ability to commune with God.

Picture the 6 dimensions where man's spirit exists losing it's rightful place in man above soul and body. Now soul and body are usurped above man's spirit in the 4 dimensions of time space. The 4 dimensions have been split asunder from proper communication with the spirit's 6 dimensions. Some have proposed one more dimension because they are have problems with one extremely small anomaly that yet remains unresolved with only 10 dimensions. When theorists add the 11th dimension, the problem goes away. This is interesting because the Holy Spirit (3rd Person of the Godhead) is said to have "7 spirits of God" (Rev. 4.5; see 5.6, Is. 11.2) as if to say, it is communicating in realm of quirks and quarks and vibrating strings of those 7 dimensions of spirit.

Whence before spirit, soul and body were in perfect harmony in the Garden of Eden by the 6 or 7 dimensions flowing with the 4 dimensions, now the 6 or 7 dimensions where the spirit exists in man have lost communication with the soulical body and need God's redemptive design. Sin not only affected man, but hurt the area of creation surrounding earth.
