I was watching Science Now on Nova, and they said that some stars burn themselves out real fast, lasting only a million years, while our sun will last about 10 billion years (an average star), in which it has reached the halfway mark. But other stars actually burn so slow that they last for trillions of years.

This is the avenue for the physical new city on the new earth that Abraham was looking for. This new city will start out on Mars, because in 2 billion years, earth will be burnt up without the sea as the Bible predicted due to the increasing size of the sun that makes earth uninhabitable. Then when the sun reaches its maximum size it will implode. Before that occurs, the new city on the new earth which is 1379 x 1379 miles will become 1379 x 1379 x 1379 miles with walls 216 feet thick, able to leave our solar system and travel among the the trillions of stars, some of which will have a lifespan of trillions of years.

God said nobody knows the the wonderous things He has planned for us who are saved in which He and the Lamb will be the center of the new city.

Also, scientists believe soon a space elevator can be created, so this explains how the Bible describes the new city on the new earth is actually 1379 miles high.
