I'm pretty sure Genesis never mentioned 13.7 billion years.

Besides, the universe isn't even that old. More like 12 billion.

Why does Genesis need to mention 13.7 billion years?

Scientists are settled on 13.7 billion years. This is the proof now established and it is fairly certain, because they can project back by the movement of the starts to exactly 13.7 billion years.

You're mistaken.

The universe simply isn't that old.

That was 1996. Scientists are uninamous today the universe is exactly 13.7 billion years old and the earth is billions of years old too.

Just turn on Nova or other programs on tv talking about the age of the universe. They always say 13.7 billion years. They never say 12.07 billion years.

You're behind the times.

You can fit this 13.7 billion years in Gen. 1.1 and 2.7.
