Infraction System & Reporting (http://biblocality.com/forums/misc.php?do=cfrules#reputation)

When one member reports another member's post by clicking on the http://biblocality.com/forums/images/aria/buttons/report.gif at the top right of a post, the report and the reason is posted in the Infractions & Reporting (http://biblocality.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=341) forum which is only visible to Moderators and Apostles. The Moderators of that forum, and Super Moderators, receive an email of the report as well.

Clicking on the http://biblocality.com/forums/images/aria/buttons/infraction.gif button at the top right of a post allows Moderators (all Moderators should be Apostles) to give a Warning or Infraction to members. They can given a Warning or Infraction from from their View Profile page also. A thread is created in the Infractions & Reporting forum with a description when a Moderator gives a Warning or Infraction. Both the user and the moderator's name are given in the thread created, a private administrative note that member does not see, quotes the infracted post and gives a link to the post itself. A private message is sent to the user explaining the Infraction.

Infractions - Moderate All Posts
Reaching 15 points the user's posts become moderated, which means their posts are not visible by the public until they are approved by the moderator of that forum. Private messages "stored" is limited to zero, which they would have to delete all stored messages to be able to send a new message. Other restrictions also will apply for the duration until the time of the transgression(s) for the points accrued wears off to below 15 points.

Moderators can receive Infractions from Super Moderators.

Infractions - Temporarily Banned
If the user reaches 30 points of Infractions, then he is banned until the Infractions wear off and return to the status of "Infractions - Moderate All Posts". Subsequently, if enough time accrues, the user may be restored to regular membership. The user remains on the member list, but does not receive special announcements by email or pm.

Permanently Banned or Removal
Once a person is "Temporarily Banned," consideration is given to remove the account completely or to place the status into permanent ban which is up to the moderators if they have had enough, especially if this is the second or third time they have come out of and reentered back into temporary ban. Moderators can place a user in Permanent Ban by when additional Infractions are given to reach the threshold of 35 points. This automatically places the user in the Permanently Banned group. They are taken off the member list as well and do not receive special announcements by email or pm. The user can still receive incoming messages from Moderators, but that is about all the user can do. Then the Supermoderator or Admin can remove the user altogether if they wish.

The Various Infractions

Moderators indicate in the "Administrative Note" any particulars which is not seen except by Moderators. What is typed in the "Message to User" area to describe the Infraction shows up as the "Reason:" in the private message sent to the User.

False teaching - 1 point
False teachings never expire. If the person has a change of mind, they may notify the moderator who gave the infraction so that it can be reversed.

Insulting others - 2 points, lasting 30 days
Optional warning only instead may be given.

Inappropriate language - 3 points, lasting 25 days
Optional warning only instead may be given.

Signature rule violation - 4 points, lasting 20 days
There are 10 signature rule violations (http://biblocality.com/forums/misc.php?do=cfrules#rules) under Board Etiquette. What Moderators type in the "Administrative Note" area is not viewable except by the Moderators in the copy of the Infraction or Warning that is sent to the "User Infraction & Reporting" forum.

Spammed advertisement - 5 points, lasting 15 days
Users can see their total Infraction points in their User CP and the date when they expire. This information can also be seen in their View Profile page, including warnings also, if he or she is not Banned or their posts are not being Moderated. Warnings do not generate Infraction points.

Regular members cannot see other member's Infractions or Warnings received. Only Moderators can see the Infractions and Warnings in the member's View Profile page. And only those Moderators of the particular forum where the Infraction or Warning was given can see total warnings and infractions in the top right of the post that received the infraction or warning...where it reads "Infractions: a/b (c)". a = warnings; b = infractions; c = infraction points.

There ought to be no reason under the Infraction System & Reporting a person is removed or banned because they would have been warned or received Infractions enough times to cause them to curtail their behavior. Therefore, if someone does get removed or is permanently banned, it is most deserving.
