Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;
Luk 21:26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
The ordering of events:

1) Jerusalem will be trodden.
2) signs in sun and moon and stars.
3) distress on the nations.
4) great changes in the sea and waves.
5) men's hearts failing.
6) powers of heaven shaken.

Then Christ will return.

Nations will be without resources and hurricanes is a Biblical sign of the last days. The force of heaven will be shaken. Powerful winds are the might of heaven which vibrate upon earth from the heavenly powers. And the sea will be agitated and echoed throughout the world.

(1) Jews were taken captive at 70 A.D. into all nations; Gentiles owned the land of Israel up until the times of the Gentiles starts being fulfilled, which are the things that come to pass before Christ returns, in items 2-6.

All the nations that controlled Jerusalem since 70 A.D. were Gentile nations, not Jewish. Jesus knew that not until the Jews regained control of Jerusalem again would it be time for Him to come back. He knew this! Wow! He knew Peter would be a rock for the church, so He called him a small rock. Peter made so many errors in his faith, yet by the time of Acts, he showed he was a rock for the church. Jesus predicted this would occur.

How likely was Israel to win back Jerusalem? It took them 6 days in 1967 to defeat the Muslims of Jordan Israel became a nation in 1948. This is the shortest war in history, as if to say, it was preordained or destined to occur it because was so easy.

Psa 102:16 (http://www.blueletterbible.org/cgi-bin/popup.pl?book=Psa&chapter=102&verse=16&version=kjv) When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
When, in 1967, Jerusalem was taken from Jordanians, the wall was torn down and Jerusalem becomes the capital of Israel.

What happens after 1967 when the the times of Gentiles begins to be fulfilled? Signs in the sun: shortly after 1967 scientists claimed the sun was shrinking, though this is a false claim, since we know the sun in about 2 billion years from now will have increased in size to burn the oceans up on earth. Perhaps we need to find a better example of signs in the sun. Signs in the moon: two years later man landed on the moon (1969). Signs in the stars: in the 1990s something happens to Jupiter, the planet of war, representing Israel, the planet of king David, and a reflection of Israel. In 1990s the shoemaker levy comet plowed into Jupiter, broke into 16 fragments, which was like millions of atomic bombs going off.

A Jewish rabbi said the day it hit, Israel was about to do something bad. The Oslo agreement was secretely being signed to give up land.

Then look out at the powers of heaven, the final thing to occur before Christ's return. In the late 1990s the hale bob comet (1997) was 50,000 times brighter that hailey's comment. The last time it was seen in our galaxy was 4200 years ago when Noah was building a boat (PSR magazine). Wow!

A Jewish writing (sounds like the centerolamorbab) has a Jewish tradition that Noah saw a huge comet as a sign water was coming to the world. The last time it came it shook the waters. How weird the comet was hidden in cosmic dust and then came forth to be seen. The comet was seen on Israel's 45th birthday. It exited the galaxy or was hidden again on Israel's 50th birthday.

45 years from 1967 is 2012. And 5 years from then is 2017. 50 years is the year of Jubilee where all debts are forgiven.

I am not making any claims, but I do find this somewhat intriguing. Can anyone detect any mistakes in the statements I made?

Mat 24:37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
Mat 24:38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
Mat 24:39 and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
Mat 24:40 Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left.
Mat 24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left.

Incidentally, since Matthew 24.31ff is speaking to Christians, both the "take" and the "left" are the Christians being spoken of. Why do you this this is?
